A&E Flying Club

A&E Flying Club is a non-profit club, located at Hawthorne Municipal airport (KHHR).  A&E does not rent aircraft; it is a members only club.  Members own, fly, and maintain four IFR-capable aircraft.  Aircraft are available for everything from a short local tour or lunch outing to extended trips.

Membership is limited to fifty Active members. Our members perform the preventative maintenance allowed by the FAA.  The club has a dedicated maintenance day and club meeting on the third Saturday of every month from 8AM until the work is done.  Many members have gone on to purchase their own aircraft having learned about ownership through their involvement with our club.

Whether you already have a pilot certificate or think you might be interested in learning to fly, check out A&E.  For more information, please contact the membership coordinator at membership@aandeflyingclub.org.
