This memorial day weekend, we are planning a Fly-Out to Mulege to stay in Hotel Serinidad. I am taking names of those interested.
KHHR - El Gallito 535nm
El Gallito is the airstrip by Hotel Serenidad.
It does not have fuel, so we'll have to figure out another fueling option.

I am definitely in for this. The Saturday all-you-can-eat pig roast outdoors by the pool with Mariachi band music is not to be missed. Don Johnson, owner of Serenidad, is a real gem. You can go kayaking on the Bay of Conception, beach the boat on numerous small islands, and swim/snorkel along rock outcroppings. The water is very warm and clear. Mulege is a quaint town with several wonderful restaurants which are reasonably priced. No worries about banditos or the border crossing - but you MUST have a passport to get back north of the border (you might want to watch Cheech and Chong "Born in East LA" before departure). If you haven't flown in Old Mexico, you owe it to yourself - it is fun! Check photos of past trips on the website.
